The message is extremly broad and hard to accept but this book takes you to those places and moments where very few of us have travelled. View all 10 comments. One thing I didn’t like was the way she described religious people. Not mentioning them won’t remove them from our society.

It gaja a totally enthralling journey noveo three class fellows, of unrequited love, desire and lust. Being a complex novel, its primary diegesis concerns the struggle of its main character, Qayum, while its secondary diegesis deals with expulsion of vultures from kingdom of birds.

This novel best describes the journey and human behavior. No doubt writers like Banu Qudsia, Ashfaq Ahmed are great assets for our youth’s character-buildi It was a very Inspirational psycological and philosophical novel.

All characters of this book are negative, selfish and unlucky.

What a strange species we are! Now every novel has a same story line of a spoiled rich boy falling in love with a religious girl and himself turning into a “molvi” as a result. Gidh is the Urdu word for a vulture and Raja is a Hindi synonym for king.

I strongly recommend this novel rraja all and lot of thanks to Bano Qudsia for such a great contribution to Urdu literature. Hate me for my review but I don’t agree with almost half of the things in the novel. Apart from the above implication the novel has many social, emotional and psychological aspects. Similarlyother things mentioned were accountable too.
